The President's actions to immediately direct more NIH funds to cutting edge Alzheimer's research and the announcement regarding his plans for the 2013 FY budget are certainly welcome. But, there's much more work to do to ensure that the National Alzheimer's Plan is a national strategic plan that is
urgent, achievable and accountable to change the trajectory of this disease.  The petition currently has over 130,000 signatures and is more than halfway to the new goal of a quarter million.
