2011 Parade of Ponds
|
Parade of Ponds is almost here! True Pump is proud to once again be a part of the Colorado Parade of Ponds. This year's event will take place this Saturday, August 27, 9:00AM - 5:00PM, and Sunday, August 28, 11:00AM - 5:00PM. There will be over 30 ponds to enjoy, mostly in the south Denver metro area. You can choose between the self-guided tour for $15.00 or a bus tour sponsored by True Pump on Saturday to make your pond viewing even more relaxing, enjoyable and informative. The bus tour will depart from True Pump, 1429 S. Broadway, at 9:00AM on Saturday, August 28 and will return at approximately 4:30PM. Cost for the bus tour is $40.00 for adults and $15.00 for children. This price includes your Parade of Ponds ticket, the bus tour, soft drinks and a box lunch. The bus is equipped with a restroom. Build A Pondless Seminar
|
Learn how to create a paradise in your backyard!!! Sign up for our 1 day seminar and come get your hands dirty working side-by-side with the True Pump pros. This unique "hands on" training session will teach you how to build your own Pondless water feature.
We'll start at 9:00 am and with your help by 4:00 pm we will have created a beautiful Pondless Waterfall!
The class will be held on Saturday, September 17 at True Pump. Class size will be limited to 15 people so sign-up soon! Fee for the class is $30 and is 100% refundable when you buy a complete pondless kit within 2 weeks of the class! Lunch and beverages will be provided.

Water Gardening 101

A primary focus of our company is educating people about the wonderful world of water gardening. We will answer customer questions in each month's newsletter, if you have questions to submit please send them to info@truepump.com.
"Is it a leak or only evaporation?"
We receive many calls from customers trying to determine if their water loss is from evaporation or a leak. Every pond is different but it is possible for a pond to lose 1/4" to 1/2" per day during the hot summer months. Sun exposure, size and height of waterfalls along with many other factors make each water feature unique. If you're experiencing water losses exceeding 1/2" per day you should investigate for leaks or call one of our Certified Aquascape Contractors for assistance.
