I think we can safely say that summer has finally arrived! Here at our pond the iris are now blooming, the lillies have flower buds that are nearing the surface and the lotus are sending up their first test leaves.
In this newsletter we are highlighting two pond tours you can attend this summer, both in August. We are also having a sale on the Mini AquaBasin kits and have even included a video to show you just how easy these are to install.
Fish & Aquatic Plants
Many of you already know what a great addition fish are to your pond. After a long day at work it is so relaxing to hang out by the pond with your "wet pets." We have a good selection of fish and also have even more which will be available for sale this Friday, June 11.
We have switched to a new aquatic plant supplier and receive new plants each Thursday. The quality and selection of plants are both outstanding. Yes, we do have water hyacinths! Aquatic plants are critical for a balanced ecosytem to help remove excess nutrients from your pond.
We have some very special deals on a few overstock and discontinued items. Available while supplies last.
Pond tours are a great way to learn more about the world of water gardening. Whether you have an existing pond or are looking to add your first one it's a great way to get ideas, talk with existing pond owners or just enjoy the beauty of the waterfalls, fish and plants. Pond tour dates are located in the calendar section of this newsletter below.
Rocky Mountain Waterscape's Water Garden Tour includes ponds mostly in the northern metro area while BR&D's Parade of Ponds includes ponds mostly in the southern metro area. You can even let us do the driving and join the Parade of Ponds bus tour on Saturday, August 28. (Pre-registration required)
Aquascape is now posting many informational videos on the web. Click on the link below to watch. See for yourself how easy it is to install the Mini AquaBasin.
