Spring has definitely arrived! Our phone hasn't stopped ringing for the last week and a half, we hope you're just as busy. Included in this newsletter is information on our upcoming Build A Pond Day, an update on products and an important announcement about taxes that is a must read!

| Build A Pond Day, April 29, SIGN UP NOW! |
It's not too late to sign up for our upcoming Standard Build A Pond Day on April 29. Standard BAPs are designed for installers who are relatively new to pond building or those with some experience who would like to sharpen their skills. The project will consist of installing a basic 10' x 14' pond and a 10' stream using the 20 component and 20 step installation process. Seminar cost is $99.00 per person or $89.00 per person for 3 or more employees from the same company. This is a great opportunity for some hands-on learning and the opportunity to work side by side with the pros from True Pump.

The newly re-formulated water treatments are selling very well and are as good as advertised. Some other product updates:
- We have received our first shipment of the new AquascapePro contractor sized water treatments. These are available in dry & liquid bacteria, SAB, sludge cleaner, detoxifier and flocculent.
- We are now stocking the 12PN from Tsurumi. This pump is rated at 11,500 maximum gph and can be operated in low head applications.
- Another new product is the Cascade Falls. These waterfall boxes are great for pondless applications where there's just not room for a Biofalls.
- Effective May 1 there will be a price increase on the Tsurumi PL series pumps and both sizes of AquaBlox.
- Please be aware that due to incredible demand there is a long waiting list for the IonGen electronic clarifier. We will fill orders as they were received so if you have a need for these get your order in now!

Were you aware that many cities and municipalities are changing how they apply tax laws to landscape contractors? Here's the latest from ALCC:
"Landscape companies have reported increased municipal tax audits and what appears to be a redefining of existing tax codes. In many cities, auditors are reportedly re-writing the rules of the game at contractors' expense. Business owners who think they are playing by the rules and paying their taxes are now faced with up to six figure assessments on past work."
