Considering Giving To The Alliance's Land Fund Drive

- The Alliance's Land Fund Drive is well underway.  Drive Team Captains and Members are making contact with prospects now. The Alliance uses this fund for the purchase or improvement of land that is marketed to companies and site selection consultants looking to create jobs in Corinth and Alcorn County.

Competition for new jobs is fierce in our region, and our industrial property is limited.   The Land Fund helps The Alliance level the playing field by allowing us to buy property and develop it for economic development projects. We encourage you to consider giving to this important fund.

For more information on the Land Fund Drive, please contact Gary Chandler at (662) 287-5269 or

KEEP CORINTH-ALCORN BEAUTIFUL
Keep Corinth-Alcorn Beautiful is thankful to have partnered with so many wonderful businesses, industries, groups, and individuals during this year's Great American Cleanup.  Thank you all for your hard work and dedication!

Tips for summer:

-Choose native species plants when landscaping, as they generally require less watering and care

-Bump your thermostat up one degree this week and another degree next week (you'll hardly notice and you'll save energy!)

-Opt for clothes dried on the line and give your dryer a break (and your wallet, too!)

-Don't forget to visit our local farmer's markets and the Green Market for local fare

As always, you can follow us on twitter and "like" us on Facebook for our latest announcements and programs.

Community Guide & Membership Directory - The Alliance is working on the next Community Guide and Membership Directory for Corinth and Alcorn County.  Over 20,000 copies of this first-class booklet will be printed.  The guide will be distributed to residents, newcomers, and visitors.  Don't miss your opportunity to be included in this booklet!  This guide is a great "members-only" benefit!
