The SBE National Certification Committee has put together a list of Suggested Reference books that may be helpful in studying for the exam. Everyone's skill set and knowledge is different so the SBE National Certification Committee does not recommend specific books. Some of theses books can be purchased through the SBE Bookstore (SBE Members receive a discount).
Handbook for Sound Engineers is the most comprehensive reference available for audio engineers. All audio topics are explored: if you work on anything related to audio you should not be without this book!
