Mass Theatrica presents two charming short operas in English - DIDO AND AENEAS & Il GIUOCO DEL QUADRIGLIO (A Game of Cards) Saturday, June 23, 2012, 8:00 PM at the Cambridge YMCA (Durrell) Theatre, 820 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, MA.
In Antonio Caldara's Il Giuoco del Quadriglio (A Game of Cards), four ladies play cards and hilariously "dish the dirt" Real Housewives style. Henry Purcell's Dido & Aeneas tells of love gained and then tragically lost. Stage Director, Martha Birnbaum, a Cambridge resident.  has set the show in Cambridge and viewers will recognize Harvard Square and the Charles River.

Both operas will be presented in English and are well suited to high school-age children. $20 (General Admission), $15 (Students/Seniors), $10 (students age 17 and under)
