Don't miss the excitement...

The CRLS FIRST Robotics Team will compete in the 2012 regional March 23, 24 (Friday and Saturday) at BU Agannis Arena from 9:00-5:00. As you may know, FIRST robotics is a competition that seeks to foster interest in students for science and engineering. The FIRST organization tries to elevate the role of science and engineering in our society by giving students the chance to compete in an event with all the trappings of a major sporting event. Spectators are given the chance to both view the contests and get up close and personal with all the teams by visiting the teams in the "Pits" where teams repair and modify their robots between matches (look for team 97, Bionic Beef). The team has many members that may not be on a sports team but this is their moment to shine. Come down and support the team this year. The event is free but parking is not and fills up early underneath the Arena on Saturday.  There are other garages in the area. We have a great team this year and we are hoping to get a shot at the finals.See you at the game.

Flying High is the story of a wildly successful but unhappy pop star and a band just starting out, and how they both seek fulfillment in the unscrupulous world of the music industry.

Flying High will be performed eight times at the Peabody School, 70 Rindge Avenue in Cambridge MA.  The times are

Sunday, March 25 at 1:00pm & 5:00pm
Saturday, March 31 at 3:00pm & 7:00pm
Sunday, April 1 at 1:00pm & 5:00pm

The show features entertaining lyrics set to singable music in a variety of styles.
It consists of two 40-minute acts with an intermission and will appeal to audiences of all ages.  The cast of more than 135 chorus members and soloists is drawn
from many Greater Boston communities and ranges in age from 7 to 85.

Admission this year is free. NCFO welcomes donations and suggests $5.00 for children, $10.00 for adults.  Come early to make sure you get a good seat!  For more information about NCFO, visit www.FamilyOpera.org
