National Honor Society News

Invitations to apply for membership in the National Honor Society have been mailed out to juniors who have a current official GPA of 87 or greater, including transfer credits. The invitation includes important information about the application process, including steps that students can get started on immediately.

There will be a mandatory informational meeting on Thursday February 16, 2012 during Community Meeting in the media Cafeteria for all eligible students interested in applying. The application packet will be distributed at that meeting. The application packet will enable the Faculty Council to carefully consider each student's candidacy in relationship to the four pillars of the National Honor Society, which are Scholarship, Character, Service, and Leadership. The completed application packets, including all supporting documentation will be due by Monday March 5, 2012, and any applications submitted after that date will not be considered.

If a student did not receive an invitation, but believe they meet the GPA criteria, he or she can check with Mr. Mili.

Yearbooks and Yearbook Ads still on sale

Payment plans are available. You only need $20 to enroll in the monthly payment plan.

Did you know you can purchase ad space in the yearbook this year? Graduating seniors and friends can purchase space for messages and pictures to celebrate their time at CRLS. Also, families and businesses can purchase space to show their support of a graduating senior or the whole class of 2012. For more detail, email yearbook@cpsd.us, see an editor, or stop by room 2109.
