Lieberman Music Supervisor for ABC/SOAPnet
Rob Lieberman was commissioned to music supervise ABC/SOAPnet's new original reality series BANK OF MOM & DAD. Each week, this ten-part series featured a twenty-something woman who is drowning in debt and must pay the ultimate price ... letting her parents move in to straighten out her life with the help of a financial expert.
Working with thousands of music cues, Rob helped brand, select and organize the tracks under very tight post production deadlines. This was Rob's third reality series this year.
TimeSteps' Video Entertains at Gala
New York Blood Center's Champions of Life fundraising gala was an opportunity to entertain and educate about the power of donated blood and its ability to save lives. Marilyn & Rob produced an emotional three-minute video for large screen projection. This project featured people whose lives were saved thanks to the blood center's efforts.
Freelance Writers R Us
The written word is not dead. It has simply moved from paper to pixels. Requests for content for internet and intranet sites dominated this year's writing projects. Subjects ranged from "Tips for Managing Disgruntled Employees" to "Conditions for Suing Competitors." Some were interview-based, others research-based; all were fun to write.
Marilyn Petrokubi's Year-end Observations
If there is a trend for this year it was the request for cost-effective, web-based videos. Clients are asking for one to two-minute webisodes with greater frequency. We love the shorter formats.
Additionally we have designed programs using previously shot material exclusively. This re-purposed footage makes for high quality, cost effective programs.
