 Earth Shade Natural Window Treatments- The Best of the Best

EarthShade is the first and only green company to offer window fashions that are easy on our planet and delightful to the soul.

Manufactured from the HIGHEST quality, RAPIDLY RENEWABLE grasses, reeds, bamboo, TrueGreen Hemp™ or other cellulosic fibers in whole, part, trimmed, twisted, or braided to obtain truly unique patterns. Gathered in Central and South America as opposed to Southeast Asia, substantially reducing green house gas emissions associated with transportation.
All patterns are insulating and sun shading properties that may increase the energy performance of the window system.
Coloration is obtained from the materials natural state, sun bleaching, or oven baking.
No finishes, chemicals, lacquers, or other commonly used "clear coats".
Hardware is of the HIGHEST Quality known; including operational, non-corroding metal pulleys (high recycled content) as opposed to industry standard stationary plastic guides.
Earthshade Natural Window Fashions are available in ten operating styles including Top-down/ bottom-up and even custom motorization by wireless remote control.
Shades can be prepared to meet commercial fire codes with a WATER based, LOW-TOXICITY fire retardant, making EarthShades the ideal "designer" option for commercial/contract applications.
All custom shades come standard with a lifetime limited warranty, effectively promoting peace of mind for the planet and its populace.

GRU Feed-In Tarrif Set To Reopen
 From Joe Nicholson of Pure Energy Solar:

The GRU Feed-In-Tariff (FIT) Program began in 2009 and continues to evolve. There was an overwhelming interest in the program from day one and many local business owners and residents who wanted to be involved last year were shut out as the yearly allowable reservations were met rapidly all the way through 2016. Since then, some of the watts reserved at that time have not been installed and GRU has decided to re-open the program on a limited scale. Both residential and commercial reservations will be accepted beginning on January 17th, 2011 with a special carve out dedicated to residential systems, ensuring Gainesville residents an opportunity to participate in the program.

The following FIT Program information is subject to change between now and January 17th, 2011.

To date, as we understand it:

There are 1.2 Megawatts available to be reserved.

 200,000 Kilowatts dedicated for residential reservations

 1,000,000 Kilowatts (1 Megawatt) for commercial reservations

GRU is offering separate buy-back rates for commercial versus residential systems

 Commercial = $ 0.29/Kilowatt-Hour

 Residential = $ 0.32/Kilowatt-Hour

Each project application will require the following:

Signed SEPA Including: Designated Solar Contractor; Completed Exhibits I and IV of Attachment A

Diagrams of the system

Proof of Installer Qualifications

GRU Vendor Form

IRS Form W-9

Insurance declaration page with a minimum of $200,000 in general liability insurance (no exception, if this is third party they are required to buy insurance)

$500 residential or $1200 commercial processing fee

Capacity reservation deposit equal to $30/kW* (for all projects > 10KW and refundable when project is complete)

Third party projects must have a lease agreement at time of application submittal

As a local Gainesville area business, we are happy to be involved with this program and to be able to provide our services and experience with the FIT Program to local Gainesville residents and businesses so they can take advantage of this opportunity, rather than outside investors. Please feel free to contact us for more information and guidance about how you can benefit from this program.

Pure Energy Solar will be accepting applications and filing paperwork for all interested parties. Please contact us as soon as possible so we can begin compiling all the necessary application information to place you in the GRU FIT reservations queue!
