Safecoat Acrylacq is DIY- Featured Review
"To sum up my experience with this stuff is WOW!  I am very impressed with the quality after just shooting 2 coats on it.  I posted this review to a few blogs and after 12 hrs I have had about 15,000 views on this episode."  This quote comes from James Wheeldon who is the host of Huck's DIY web tv show.  Acrylacq is a clear, hard and durable high gloss, water-based replacement for high solvent content lacquer. Its very low odor and VOC content has allowed it to be used even in the homes of the chemically sensitive. SafecoatŪ Acrylacq seals in outgassing from the substrate, and has superior resistance to stains, marring, and fingerprint marks. Also available in satin, Acrylacq is SCS certified and LEED qualified.  To hear the entire review of Acrylacq, go here: http://blip.tv/file/3702906

Gainesville Green Home Energy Tracking System Online

Although still in Beta mode and under development, Gainesville Green is already becoming a resource for studies around the country as well as being a great source for tracking your own energy use, your friends' energy use and projected energy savings from upgrades or rebates from GRU.  Their goal is to provide Gainesville with a simple tool to help visualize and track energy usage. It is our hope that making this data available to consumers in a transparent way, will enable individuals to make better decisions about their utility usage. We also aim to offer an easy way for renters and home buyers to evaluate the operating costs of a potential home. Click here to see for yourself.
