CUSTOMER SPOTLIGHT.
INDIGOGreen Install of Woven Bamboo Floor and Formaldehyde-Free Cabinetry
Very happy with their whole installation experience, J.H. initially got to know INDIGOGreen through our free community workshops. These customers wanted to do a low carbon footprint remodel and were surprised when they "opened up one of the cabinet drawers to find the FSC seal on the inside" certifying that the wood that made their cabinetry was sustainably harvested. Additional concerns that J.H. had was with the offgassing of plywoods, particleboards and flooring. His concern was based on his past experience with his previous cabinetry which caused allergic reactions. We asked him what his reaction has been with the new beautifully backlit Shiloh Cabinets, JH said "Nothing. It has been a great experience". To learn more about our formaldehyde-free cabinetry and flooring please see our website to learn all about why we choose the flooring and cabinetry that we do. |

Squak Mountain Stone Countertops
Currently being spec'd into Starbucks across the country, their designers can see why this sustainable countertop is a long-lasting and durable material. A Fibrous-cement material comprised of recycled paper, recycled glass, coal fly-ash and cement, Squak Mountain Stone is hand-cast into "slabs" as an alternative to natural or quarried stone. Resembles soapstone or limestones and is a great option for an environmentally -friendly countertop or table top. Please click here for more information on our Squak Mountain Countertops.

Take Advantage Of Florida State Rebate April 16th
Our Noritz tankless energy star water heaters at INDIGOGreen will qualify for April's Florida appliance rebate. What's more, Floridians who need a new dishwasher, room air conditioner, clothes washing machine, refrigerator, freezer or water heater and want 20 percent off the price courtesy of the federal government should start planning to act quickly on April 16. That's because the window for Floridians to take advantage of a federal rebate for purchasing those appliances, if they feature "Energy Star" efficiency ratings, is between April 16 and 25. Those who trade in or properly recycle their old appliances are eligible for an additional $75. But just because the program is available over a 10-day period does not mean everyone is going to get 20 percent off. Click here for more info on this rebate. | |

National Rebuilding Day
Saturday, April 24, 2010
National Rebuilding Day is the culmination of months of planning, evaluating, training, organizing, and mobilizing of volunteers. It is embraced by faith-based groups, civic organizations and corporate sponsors as a way of bringing an immediate impact to our community in a single day. The purpose of that one incredible day is to improve the homes and lives of homeowners in need.
Last year, we had five remarkable project sponsors (corporations, groups or individuals who paid for the projects). This April, we need ten sponsors. If you can't be a sponsor, help us get one. Tell your employer - tell your church - tell your club or organization that we will come and explain the mission of Rebuilding Together. Last year, we had over a hundred tireless volunteers. This April, we need two hundred volunteers. Start spreading the word in every way you can think of.
What are you doing on April 24th, 2010? Join us as we make a difference in a day!
