Greetings!  

A little late getting this newsletter out as we have been full-out preparing for Pooch Party which is nearly here!

You're probably also wondering how plans for the party are coming since blog posts are sparse.  Well, I'd blame it on staff if we had any!  All of the volunteers are busy working behind the scenes to ensure this event is the best ever!

We'll do some updates this week and weekend.  We're very happy with the number of vendors and friends participating this year.
 
Just yesterday, Linda Gardiner of Pawsitive Transitions & Pooch's Corner and I were at Richmond Green scoping out the area for the new feature this year - a temporary leash-free area behind the venue.  Thank you Linda for sponsoring this activity!
 
Mayor Dave Barrow & Councillor Liu have agreed to say a few words at the event between the full day of activities planned at centre stage.

Keep an eye out in the next week or two for news on Tower Hill Dog Park.  Light at end of tunnel?  We'll send out a special email and post to our blog and Facebook when we have full details.

In no particular order, these are some of the suggestions from our members:
  • Design and ammenities input for new dog park location
  • Pooch Party 2012!

We encourage you to email us your ideas or post in the forums at our website where we can debate priority. We can't do it all at once and projects will require additional fundraising.
