Family heritage celebrated
Our two newest partner families wore outfits to honour their First Nations and Mexican heritage at our Sept. 8 ground-breaking ceremony for the first of two Westside duplexes. The gathering also gave us an opportunity to thank some of our generous supporters and donors, including our major donors, MacKay LLP, and The Home Depot Canada Foundation. One of our newest donors, Tolko, presented the partner families with the hard hats they'll need to help perform the 500 hours of sweat equity that every Habitat home-owner gives to the organization.
