June, 2010 Motivation Monthly |
Greetings!
Hello and welcome to Corporate Motivation's monthly newsletter. After the long wait, Summer is finally here and we bet some of you can't wait to get out on the golf course. As one of the world's most popular sports, golf provides a fantastic opportunity for you to get your company name out there. According to a 2009 National Golf Foundation (NGF) report, there are 28.6 million golfers ranging from the amateurs to pros in the country. Those golfers spend a combined $5.1 billion annually on golf equipment and apparel. If golfers are spending that much on equipment and apparel, imagine how happy they will be when they receive those same products, for free, from you.

Getting To Know Golf Shirts
One of the most popular branded golf items is Golf Shirts. Golf Shirts can be worn pretty much anywhere from the office to the golf course or just running errands. There are several options when it comes to choosing a branded Golf Shirt for your company. The two major factors to consider when choosing a branded Golf Shirt is the fabric and how and where you place your logo.
The fabric of Golf Shirts has changed a lot over the years. ItBamboo Golf Shirt | used to be that 100% cotton was the most desired fabric. While still popular, 100% cotton shirts are becoming second to poly-cotton blends due to poly-cotton's breath-ability. This is especially true in warmer climates where breath-ability and odor control are key. Recently, there has been an emergence in popularity of bamboo blend Golf Shirts. These shirts are not only popular for their eco-friendly reputation, but also for their breath-ability and high level of quality (they don't snag and just plain look good).
When putting your logo on a Golf Shirt there are a couple of important factors to keep in mind. The preferred method of having a logo on a Golf Shirt is embroidery. Embroidery is the "high-end" way to place your logo on any wearable and, since golf is considered a "high-end" sport, this is the method golfers tend to prefer. As far as placement of your logo is concerned; subtlety is key. Golfers prefer small, low-profile logos on the left-chest area or sleeve. Logos are usually placed in one or two areas maximum.
We hope you found this information useful and don't hesitate to give us a call if you have any questions about Golf Shirts, or other branded golf merchandise.
