Best Practices for Email Marketing
Part 3 of a Special 3-Part Series on Email Marketing
I recently attended a webinar in which one of the presenters declared email marketing already "old school." Really? Things do change quickly in today's world, especially when it involves technology. The good thing about something that may be considered "old school," however, is that it's probably been around long enough to be tested, reliable, and duplicated successfully.
Following are email marketing best practices - including tips on content, mailing lists, SPAM compliance, deliverability, and others.
These practices provide helpful tips learned from the successes and failures of countless other brave souls. Stay tuned, however, because things change with new technology and evolved user behavior and expectations. What is so wonderful about all forms of online marketing, email included, is that it is easy to test and change as needed.
