IMPORTANT INFORMATION - HOLIDAY HOME INSURANCE
We appreciate your time in reading the following important information.
The insurance industry is creating a centralised searchable database of Employers Liability Insurance records following a regulatory requirement by the Financial Services Authority. This will enable those who have suffered injury or disease in the workplace to trace the relevant Employers Liability Insurer at the time of the incident.
 Before the 31st March 2012 Insurers must submit details of all policies that have Employers Liability included and and must also include details of any Employers Reference Number (ERN) for the policy holder. All organisations that operate a PAYE scheme will have an Employer's reference number for their employee's income tax and NI contributions.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO - If you employ anyone in connection with your holiday home business and pay them above the PAYE threshold, please inform us of your ERN within 7 days - Read more here
Unless we here from you to the contrary, we will be advising your insurer Ecclesiastical that you do not have an ERN, as you are exempt, as you either do not directly employ anyone in connection with your holiday home or that your payroll is below the PAYE threshold.
