Ride to Conquer Cancer

Peter Gardner from SIGN A RAMA at Burleigh is doing something that no 61-year-old man should ever do...... wear bike pants!! But on August 20 & 21 Peter will be supporting a very worthy cause by participating in the 200km 2011 Ride to Conquer Cancer.

Another Community Project that is close to our hearts is the Gold Coast Homeless Connect Day, which this year is being held on the 3rd August. This is the third year we have been involved, and we encourage everyone to see how they can assist in this wonderful day which is held at Albert Waterways, Mermaid Waters.

"I can't even begin to tell you how useful this app will be at your next site inspection. Gone are the days of writing your measurements and notes down on scraps of paper only to get back to the office and try to decipher your scribble then have to download your photos and write the dimensions on it to give to the staff. All time-consuming stuff.

"If you have an iphone, ipad or android then you definitely need to downlaod this app and give it a try. You can either take a picture of what's in front of you, or choose one from your camera roll. Then upload the photo into the app's own library and start adding your measurements right on top of it.

"Using only two fingers, touch the screen, and a line with one arrow at each end will be placed on the photo. You can use your finger to place the tips of the arrows where you like on the photo, and use the question mark in the middle of the line to imput the actual dimensions.
