Take a few minutes and review your 30-second commercial. This is the way you describe your business when someone asks what you do for a living. You should be able to convey your message in 30 seconds.

Here are a couple of points to keep in mind: Are you being upbeat, positive, and clear? Are you using words that people who are not in your field will understand? Has your business changed over time and you need to emphasize other aspects of it?

It's a great time for planning to start fresh in the new year, and refresh your message.
