Chuck Colson: The Legacy of a Hero
A General in the Christian Community has gone home to be with the Lord. We will miss Chuck Colson terribly. His influence and work is a part of our organization. National leaders in our Coalition have described Chuck Colson as "One of the really unique characters that ever crossed the stage of human history... the world has lost one of the most eloquent and influential voices in evangelicalism today." Perhaps the best way to honor him, is to remember his words, first as a follower of Jesus Christ:
"One of the most wonderful things about being a Christian is that I don't ever get up in the morning and wonder if what I do matters. I live every day to the fullest because I can live it through Christ and I know no matter what I do today, I'm going to do something to advance the Kingdom of God."
We mourn the passing of Charles Colson; but we will always celebrate his life, his ministry, the enduring influence of his work on our organization, and his impact on us personally and on our nation.

You are supposed to be advised if your normal polling place is closed; but, you may want to check the list of polling places for this election here. |
