Greetings!
As we journey towards Easter, we know that the only way to the empty tomb is through the cross. This week, I give you the art work of Georges Rouault, French expressionist artist, (1871 - 1958). I invite you to spend some time considering this piece and more importantly considering the cross and death of Jesus. What does this event mean for you? What might it mean for the world?

Finally, let me again offer an invitation to attend our Maundy Thursday and Good Friday worship services at 7:00 pm each evening. The way to the empty tomb can be hard but the journey is well worth it.

Within the next couple of days you can expect to receive an e-mail from Janet Henke concerning CLC's new volunteer software called Ministry Scheduler Pro. This is an exciting ministry tool that is going to make it easier for all of us to coordinate schedules in order to provide you opportunities to serve only when you're available to serve. Please open Janet's e-mail and click on your new account at Ministry Scheduler Pro to help us as we implement this new program. If you have any questions or concerns please e-mail Janet at janet@cantonlutheran.net
