Pope Aram 1 of the Armenian Apostolic Church | Greetings!
This week's quote comes from Pope Aram 1, head of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Lebanon. Located in the Middle East, this Christian community has learned how to identify Christ even in the midst Muslims who think and believe in very different ways. His quote invites us to see that we are authentic witnesses of our faith when we can see the gospel's claim of truth in all humanity rather than using our faith to divide people into categories of "who is in and who is out." Aram 1 writes;
"God's gift of salvation in Christ is offered to the whole humanity. Likewise...the Holy Spirit's work is cosmic; it reaches in mysterious ways to people of all faiths Therefore, the church is called to discern the signs of the 'hidden' Christ and the presence of the Holy Spirit in other religions and in the world, and bear witness to God's salvation in Christ."
May you discern in new ways the 'hidden' Christ within the diverse and beautiful world all around you.

Woman at the Well painting from the ceiling of CLC's sanctuary | Lenten Series Continues
CLC's Lenten Series Broken Pieces continues this week with another great drama and musical selection from a group of our 6th grade students titled "Does Jesus Love Me". In addition, Layne Nelson, executive director of Lutherans Outdoors will be joining us for "Camping Night" so that we can share information about upcoming camping opportunities for youth and families.
We'll be serving taverns and a delicious cheesy hashbrown bake for supper and everything's looking like this will be another WOW Lenten service that you won't want to miss.
REMINDER: WEAR YOUR FAVORITE CAMP SHIRT TO WORSHIP TONIGHT!

Giving Tree
CLC's Mission & Ministry Board has placed a Giving Tree in the handicapped entry area with some fun ideas of things you can buy for the church and the many programs and ministries that we do. Interested in some fun Easter gifts or maybe you have something laying around the house you're not using but we might be able to use. Stop by the tree today and see if there's some way that you might be able to help us out.
