Blessings to You!

We stand at the threshold of one of the most wonderful, and potentially most challenging time of the year; the holiday season! This is the season of high expectations, that are frequently not met. How can we tip the scales in the favor of joy, peace, love and faith?

We can start by taking a look at the "little things."  Want to know more? Read on!

Matthew 13:32
"The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed which a man took and sowed in his field; it is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown it is the greatest of shrubs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches."

The widow had a very small amount of oil, but as the prophet blessed it, it increased until it filled every vessel she could borrow from the neighbors. We should form the habit of blessing everything that we have. Charles Fillmore: Dynamics for Living

Meta-Musing ~ It's The Little Things

Each Thanksgiving Day we take a few moments to ponder the blessings in our lives. Topping the list is typically: Friends, Family, Health, Prosperity, Employment, etc. And that is well and good...this year, I invite you to spend a bit of time giving thanks for the little, usually overlooked things.

You see, many of the "major" things we give thanks for are the result of little things...little thoughts we nurture with time, energy, and action. Soon the little thoughts; ideas, manifest and increase in kind. So Friends and Family are nurtured with every little loving, appreciative thought. Good health is manifested and supported with every little thought of love and appreciation for our body and every little healthy habit that inspires. Our Employment situation thrives with every little thought of appreciation for our job and the positive action that inspires. I could go on...but I think you get the point.

Praise, blessings and gratitude, through the Law of Mind Action increases our good. All that we praise, bless, and give thanks for multiplies. One of the "little things" I give thanks for is the little bumps on the "F" and "J" keys on our computer keyboard! I give thanks for the speed and efficiency those itsy-bitsy bumps allow me to have.

Now, of course I don't want the "bumps" to increase, or they would fail to serve their purpose. What I give thanks for is the gift of ingenuity, imagination and connection with God's realm of all-possibility that gives us the power to be co-creators with Divine Mind.

Once you start thinking of little things
licking the spoon...vanilla...bathroom tissue...the remote control...taste'll find how many things you have to be thankful for! What are YOU thankful for today? Well then...praise, bless and give thanks for it!

In love and gratitude, RevAli

As I sit down to my Thanksgiving dinner, know that I am giving thanks for YOU. Writing is only half of a desire...there must be someone to share it with. Each time you open the Meta-Musing, and read it, the circle is completed; the teaching is shared, the mission accomplished...and hopefully the collective consciousness expanded. And then the next circle begins.

I give thanks for those who support this ministry, which is supported entirely by those who have been blessed by it. The weekly Meta-Musing is provided absolutely free. If you should wish to send a donation, you can send it to: Rev. Alicia-Leslie, 9 North Moodus Road #3, Moodus CT 06469.

Why I Won't Shop on Black Friday

Disclaimer: I am NOT Ebeneezer Scrooge. I do give gifts and shop for Christmas. AND...I believe that for many it has run amok. And the implications are far worse than we realize.

You may think that Black Friday is about Christmas Sh
opping, Great Bargains and Saving Money. But that is not it at all.

Black Friday, which has now imposed itself on Thanksgiving Day, is all about moving money from your pocket to the merchants. It is about spending more tha
n you would or should otherwise.

Do the math from Christmas Past, and you will see the Truth of this for yourself.

If you want to head out to the stores on Friday (I beg you not to go on Thursday...spend one day with friends and family giving thanks for what you already have.)...

Please check out the items below...Oh...
It won't cost you a thing!
You may not agree with what you see and hear, but at least you can make a more conscious choice.
