The Invisibility Factor 
In recent years, scientists have confirmed that the essence of all being; of everything we see, is energy. They say energy changes form, but never "dies."
Energy is expressed in and through vibration. Everything we see, feel, smell and hear is in a state of vibration; every person, place and thing is sending off vibrations that reflect their current state of being, or awareness.
The spiritual novel, "The Celestine Prophecy" touches on this in the Ninth Insight. Consider this thought from the book: "As we all evolve toward the best completion of our spiritual missions...humans focus instead on synchronistic growth. Such growth will move humans into higher energy states, ultimately transforming our bodies into spiritual form and uniting this dimension of existence with the after-life dimension, ending the cycle of birth and death." Charles Fillmore, co-founder of Unity said that Jesus did this with his body; raising the vibration to a high spiritual level. Lowering the vibrational level would allow him to be seen, and raising it he would be unseen. So...you're probably wondering, "What does that have to do with me?" Well, as send forth vibrations according to our current state of being, we attract, or repel like, or opposite vibrational energy. If our vibration is "off the radar" of another person, for all rights and purposes they don't "see" us, or notice us, even if we are standing right next to them.
Think of a recent event you attended where there were a group of people. How many faces can you recall from the gathering? Most likely it was either the people you had most in common with, or least in common with; something that resonated with, or contrary to your vibration. The rest, were simply part of the scenery.
The same thing is true of hearing. Our hearing may be fine, but our listening...not so much. Again, if the information we are sending is not resonating on either the positive or negative end of the spectrum, it is dismissed through what is called "selective hearing."
If we look at this from the purely human perspective, this can be very frustrating. However, from the spiritual perspective it is affirming. On one hand, we can know that if we raise our vibration, we attract people and circumstances in alignment with that vibration. If we let our vibrational energy lower to the denser carnal level, that is what we will attract.
On the other hand, if we want to be "seen," "heard," or understood by another person we may need to CONSCIOUSLY lower our vibration to meet them where they are. We can then CONSCIOUSLY return to our desired vibrational level, and perhaps, even for a while, bring their level up also.
This week, I invite you to be consciously aware of your vibrational level, as well as the vibrational level of those you encounter. "Feel" the energy...practice lifting and lowering through your thoughts and feelings.
