What's In Your Treasure Chest?
Blessings to You!

In Unity we have a wonderful affirmation: "I am the beloved child of a wealthy Father who blesses me with every good thing." This is true for all of us. You may be thinking, "Who...me?...Not so!" Maybe you've just locked your treasure chest, and lost the key. If you want to find the key...read on!

Matthew 6:19-21
"Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust consume and where thieves break in and steal, but lay
up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither
moth nor rust  consumes and where thieves do not
break in and steal. For where your treasure is,
there will your heart be also.

Unity Wisdom
Jesus did not own a foot of land. Yet never did He lack for anything needed. Without laying up treasures on earth He was rich in His consciousness of the treasures of heaven within Himself, treasures ready to be manifested in the outer whenever He needed them. Charles Fillmore: Prosperity
What's in YOUR Treasure Chest?...

Chances are you have a buried treasure chest...in fact, you have more than one...you have at least three that I can think of!

There are no diamonds or rubies in your treasure chest. There are no "gold dabloons or pieces of eight. There are no silver certificates or magic lamps. These things are of little real value to us. Pretty, yes. But of little meaning.

Somewhere in your house, perhaps "buried" in a closet or the bottom of your drawer you have a box of objects "worthless" to many but priceless to you. It could be a lock of hair, a baby tooth, a certificate of achievement, trophy, membership certificate, award or pin, etc. They tell stories of meaningful moments in your life.

The second types of treasure chests are typically "buried" on a bookshelf or box. They are journals and photo albums. In the pages of your album you will find precious moments, times spent with friends and family who have slipped out of our day-to-day lives; loved ones who have left the earthly plane. Precious moments with children who are now grown. The older, the shabbier the photo it seems it has more meaning for us.

The Third treasure chest is the True treasure chest, it is found in the Kingdom of Heaven...which Jesus taught is "within." Within our consciousness is housed the sum total of the good thoughts, feelings and love we have experienced in life. As the Bible tells us "Love never ends." In this treasure chest we also find our dreams and desires; the gifts and talents we have come to Planet Earth to share, and the passion to "make it so."

The things of this world will eventually fade away, but the treasure house of the heart cannot be penetrated. Do not be deceived. There is no "expiration date" on the treasure house of the heart. Even the skipped heartbeats of the blush of first love are there...as fresh as the first time we felt them.

As if this were not wonderful enough...we continue to build treasure each day, with each good thought, good word, good action. Even negative experiences, when mined for the value within can become jewels in the treasure chest of our heart. What's in YOUR treasure chest? Why not go on a little treasure hunt to find out!

So...do you not agree? You ARE the beloved child of a wealthy father who blesses you with every good thing.

Showers of blessings to you! RevAli
