Princeton University Concerts continues its season with a fabulous duo of young musicians, cellist Alisa Weilerstein and pianist Inon Barnatan making their series debut in Richardson Auditorium in Alexander Hall.  

 

Professor Scott Burnham will continue his exploration of Beethoven's chamber music in a pre-concert talk at 7pm, free to ticket holders.

The occasion is the annual "Football Concert" traditionally held on the eve of the Football game between the two schools. "These concerts are always lively events, combining beautiful choral music with some traditional fight songs for the entertainment of an enthusiastic and partisan audience.

Avalon Ensemble Avalon is a piano trio made up of some of the finest musicians in Ireland: Ioana Petcu-Colan, Violin; Gerald Peregrine, Cello and Michael McHale, Piano. Ensemble-in-Residence at Trinity College, Dublin, they will mix selections from the standard repertoire with contemporary works, including new works composed for them by Irish composers and Princeton composers.
