Update from New Leaf Consignment Galleries
 Greetings!

There is a LOT of new and exciting things and events happening at New Leaf Galleries!

We are currently running a Silent Auction on items that have been in the store for a while. So if you have been eyeing that ONE special piece, come on in and see if it is on auction this week!! You may be able to get a great deal on a wonderful piece of furniture! We will be including different items in the auction each week, so, just like our store, it will always be something different!

Also, we are beginning to take items for our CHRISTMAS VILLAGE!! Redecorating your house for the holidays? Or just changing out artificial trees? Bring your items to add them to our Christmas consignment sale! The sale will run during November and December until Christmas.

Our store hours are also changing. New hours are: Monday through Saturday 10-6, and we are staying open until 9 pm on Fridays. So come on out and see us!

New Leaf is always something new and exciting!! And with these new events happening it is even more fun to come in and shop!

Introducing the Newest "New Leafer"

Kevin here... the owner of New Leaf.  For the first time, I am not the one responsible for this newsletter.  However, I wanted to take a moment to introduce you to the person who is!

This month we welcomed the newest "New Leafer" into the store.  Sarah Gregory has a Bachelor's in Interior Design from Auburn University and has worked on various projects the past couple years.  Most recently she worked with Phillip Sides and had a hand in designing the Coastal Living Idea House that will be showcased in a future edition of Coastal Living Magazine.

She is doing a tremendous job!  In addition to helping on the sales floor, she will be responsible for our newsletter, blog and social network updates.  She will also be offering "decorating on a budget" seminars along with Tiffany and local artist: Scott Powers starting later this year.  These seminars are simply our next step in helping you "live for less" so you can give more to the things in life that really matter!

We are glad to have her on board and she and Tiffany are always available for decorating advice and helpful tips.

Stop by and say "hi" to Sarah and welcome her to the New Leaf community.

Decorating For the Fall Season
By Tabitha Middleton

Fall decorating can be a lot of fun. Using the warm colors of fall, you can make or buy decorations to use inside your home, outside, or both.

A good place to start is the front door. All you need is a fall colored wreath to hang on it. These type of wreaths can be bought in many stores in various sizes. If you are a person who likes to work with crafts, you may rather make one yourself. But buying or making, your wreath will remain useful and brought out every year to enjoy.

Another idea is to place a fall centerpiece or cornucopia on your dining table. You may even want to buy a fall tablecloth with either orange and gold leaves as a background or a solid fall color, to add to the seasonal decor on your table.

Candles can be purchased reasonably and can usually be found in autumn colors. Put them all around your house. They are especially useful on end tables or even on windowsills. Many candles come in fall scents, and burning them will help to bring the atmosphere you desire. Candles can be placed in your kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms also for enjoyment.

Outside, there are many ways to celebrate the autumn. If you have front steps, you may want to place pumpkins, gourds, straw and the like on them, and you can even make a scarecrow to sit on your porch. When trees in your neighborhood shed orange and golden leaves, pick them up and add them to your outside collection of fall decorations. If you are a gardener, buy a collection of mums to spread out amongst the front yard. Mums come in many pretty colors and are usually easy to keep if you just water them every day. They bring much beauty to your landscape.
