Twirl
Rosy Cheeks!

Greetings!

Roses are red, Violet's cheeks are too! Happy Valentine's Day to all our readers and to those of you who live locally, give yourself an extra hug and a kiss for getting through what was a pretty trying week for the Taos community. Twirl, like many businesses, was forced to close its doors for a couple of days (apologies if you needed anything during that time) but we're now back to normal and feeling all warm and lovey. We'd like to share the love with a special Valentine's gift of 20% off any item in the store between now and February 20. Simply print the coupon below and hand it to one of our sales staff when making your purchase.

Calling all Lego fans, don't miss our mini-figure swap on Friday 25th Feb from 3pm - 5pm. Bring along your duplicates, swap them for something new to you and while you're here, try out some new just-in Lego sets and maybe win one to take home!

We've been having a great turn-out for our music and ballet classes, it's nice to see so many regular faces getting to know each other and all the songs and dances. As part of our mission to get out and about even more this year, Angela took her baby music class on the road to Red River and had a great time. She's going back in the Spring and would be happy to do classes in other communities, so send in your suggestions.
To any school teachers or parent reps out there, Angela is also scheduling class field trips so give her a call on 751 1402 or drop her an email at playspace@twirlhouse.com.

Craft of the Month with Angela suncatcher

Ice Sun Catchers

This is a craft that I thought was just beautiful, but decided it would work better at home!

Materials needed:
Aluminum Pie Pan
Water
A good strong ribbon, twine, or string for hanging
Found Natural Materials: Pine cones, berries, pine branches, twigs, leaves, etc.

How To:
1) Place materials into your pie pan in the arrangement that you like best. Besides the natural materials you've found, you could also add bits of colored glass, marbles, glitter, or other colorful materials.

2) Carefully pour water into your pie pan. Use a pitcher to do this and pour slowly!

3) Cut a length of ribbon, twine, or string. Place it in the pie pan so that about half of the loop hangs over the edge. This will leave you a bit of string to hang your suncatcher from.

4) Place the pie pan in the freezer, or if it is cold enough, leave it outside overnight. When the water is frozen, remove your suncatcher from the pie pan, hang, and enjoy!

Thank you as always for supporting us in what we are trying to do here at Twirl. We really appreciate all of you in our ever-growing Twirl family.

Warm regards,

The Twirl Team
