This year, we resolve to bring you the coolest toys and games on the planet, all here under one friendly, local roof! To this end, Molly will be traveling to the International Toy and Gift Fairs later in the month to track down the best of the best. Remember, if there is anything you would like to see Twirl carry, please contact molly@twirlhouse.com or come into the store and fill out one of our comment cards. For those of you who live further afield, keep an eye out for news on how you can purchase some of our favorite lines if you can't get to the store.

We also resolve to provide you the best possible free play experience in the country! We continue to get great feedback from families visiting town about the unique facilities we have here and will endeavor to make them even better in 2011. We plan to add at least one new groovy, locally-produced installation to the courtyard and to keep everything in tip-top condition, so everyone can enjoy a safe, fun, clean and inspiring playground. Remember, you can always leave us a small donation when you play now and again, to help us deliver that! Again, if you do have any suggestions, please let us know about them. It's not a cliché - we really would love to hear from you. 

We really enjoy getting out and about to the diverse family-friendly events in the community - they're what make Taos such a great place to live in and to visit. This year, we'll be bringing a little bit of Taos magic to even more events so keep an eye out for where we'll be. 

We are also committed to continuing to offer a wide choice of free classes and activities for children in our community and those visiting to come together and enjoy. We constantly try to refine and expand our schedule to offer classes that have both broad appeal and fill a gap in our children's recreational landscape. We've made a few changes to our class and activity schedule for the start of the year so do take a look. The good news is all our guided classes remain free of charge and our upstairs playroom will be open every day, with a different free activity set up daily for you to come and enjoy with friends, or on your own. If you'd like to use the space for a playgroup of your own, please contact Angela at playspace@twirlhouse.com or at 751 1402 and she can make that happen - she's our fixer, you know! 

Remember, if you aren't already a member of our Twirl Piggy Bankers program, be sure to enroll in store. Last year, over 100 customers received their cash reward so it's worth taking the time to join. We do have selected items on sale over the next couple of weeks as we make some room for new exciting shiny things, so if you do have any birthdays coming up or want to get ahead of the game for next year, come see what we have!
