The Flint Farmers' Market proudly welcomes back Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy of Flint as the sponsor of "Get Back to Your Roots."  The event, which is also a 72nd birthday celebration for the market, will take place Saturday, September 15 from 11 AM to 2 PM.  Bring the whole family - there will be games and fun for the kids - LIVE music from local jazz trio "Compared to What?"  MSU Extension will be onsite with all the info you need to take care of your own roots, 4H displays and more.  Penzien Produce will offer ROOT VEGETABLE TASTING at their booth located inside and outside the market on the main aisle.  And  . . .check out our vendor pie competition where you can be the judge - try tastes of vendor pie specialties (while supplies last.)  Friends of the Market will be on hand selling market aprons, t-shirts, cutting boards, bags, and more.
