COMPETITION THIS SATURDAY at 2:30 p.m.
Artisans Gourmet Deli Deck - COME CHEER THEM ON!
The Flint Farmers' Market, in partnership with the Crim Fitness Foundation and Mott Community College Culinary Arts Program, will host the Next Urban Chef semi-final competition at 2:30 PM this Saturday. The 2012 contestants are Paul L ewis from Northwestern High School and Victoria Ewin from Bendle High School. Each participant has been working with Chef Douglas St. Souver and Chef Nate Brown throughout the summer. The cooking face-off between Paul and Victoria will be at the Flint Farmer's Market outs ide of Artisans Gourmet Deli. The winner of this competition will compete with the winner of the Detroit semi-final competition to determine who the next urban chef champion is. Everyone is invited to come down and cheer them on! |

Get a Farmers' Market root vegetable recipe book filled with great fall and winter root vegetable recipes (first 100 people). Taste and vote for your favorite pie in the vendor pie competition (while supplies last) starting at 11 AM.
