The Flint Farmers' Market?
If so, you can become a part of our market
in a special way this summer by helping us
bring fresh produce to those who can't get to our downtown market.
Your donation of $10, $25, $50 or $100 (or more) on Indiegogo.com today will help us make it possible for seniors and those without transportation to put fresh fruits and vegetables on their tables this summer.
Two neighborhood markets will be set up in Flint, one in the north end and one in the south end. Each will feature one of our well known farmers along with local urban and neighborhood gardeners. These sites will be open on off-market days in the afternoon for just a few hours. Our hope is that these small outreach sites will truly impact the health and well being of those in our community who are most in need. Both neighborhood markets will be set up to accept Bridge Cards and Double Up Food Bucks cards.
