New Learning and Action Networks Forming Now! All Improvers Welcome
     OFMQ welcomes physicians and others to a new partnership to improve health outcomes in Oklahoma
and support the national Million Hearts Campaign. The Learning and Action Network (LAN) is a new forum to network with peers and share experiences, knowledge and best practices. OFMQ will facilitate the forum and provide access to national expertise and resources. Topics include cardiac care, preventive medicine, health information technology, meaningful use and more. Find out more about this Medicare QIO program initiative that will transform care in Oklahoma.
Hospitals Invited to Partnership to Align with Value-Based Purchasing Program

    OFMQ is inviting acute care hospitals to join a transformational partnership aimed at keeping more than 5,000 Medicare beneficiaries from experiencing avoidable hospitalizations and saving up to $46 million in Medicare dollars in Oklahoma. Learn more about the partnership and how you can join.

OFMQHIT Names 150 State HIT MUVers
     OFMQHIT honored 150 Oklahoma providers as health information technology 'MUVers' at an awards ceremony this fall. These MUVers, or Health Information Technology champions, are part of an exclusive group of Oklahoma physicians who have successfully implemented and are using an electronic health record (EHR) system in their practice. Hospital Reporting: Emergency and Immunization Measures Beginning January 2012
     Submission of the ED and IMM measure sets is required by all IPPS hospitals that are affected by the Hospital Inpatient Quality Reporting (IQR) Program beginning with Q1 2012 discharges. Find out more.
