ISTA - International School of Temple Arts Faculty are devoted to expanding the Temple Arts through growing awareness of sexuality consciousness around the world. Current projects in the works are adding Level II Spiritual, Sexual Shamanic Practitioners Training (SSSPT) and a "Next Generation" Teachers Training. The ISTA World Tour will feature these and other events and trainings in new locations. Get involved and be a part of this movement!

Teachings, Legal Troubles, and a Wedding FUNdraiser
 Sedona hosted the 10th Anniversary of the ISTA Conference of Sexuality & Consciousness in May with keynote speaker Mantak Chia, Author and Founder of the Universal Healing Tao Center. Master Chia brought wise words on sexuality alchemy and the evolution of sexual freedom. View the Image Gallery
 Also honored for ten years of service was Baba Dez Nichols, Author and Founder of the Sedona Temple and ISTA - International School of Temple Arts. Baba Dez has been touring the world 11 months per year and shared his wisdom with twelve apprentices through the month of May in the red rocks of Sedona. His teachings bring a rare depth to the practice of life force mastery, a combination of spirituality, sexuality and shamanism (SSSPT). He has expanded his work with the ISTA Faculty to produce an all-new Level II training that will expand the wisdom and deepen the integration of Spiritual Sexual Shamanic Practitioners Training and the Next Generation teachers training. In 2012 Baba Dez also expands his teachings by offering more apprenticeships in multiple countries.
 Sedona Temple officially separated operations from the International School of Temple Arts on June 1, 2011 and established its church status with the City of Sedona who put it through its paces with unprecedented zoning conditions. This attempt to restrict the practices of spirituality, sexuality and shamanism through expanded consciousness is occurring at record pace in several Tantra Temples around the nation. Donations to help educate municipalities on distinctions and best practices of sacred sexuality are accepted here.
 ISTA - International School of Temple Arts continues to lease space at the Sedona Temple Parsonage and has also established the Oklevueha Native American Church of ISTA. View the website to learn about ceremonial healings and protections for indigenous ceremonies and rights in the heart of the spiritual Mecca of North America. ONAC of ISTA launched a 10-week series of Native American Films depicting the reality of the "civilization", assimilation and Christianization of the native peoples.
 As a means to recover funding from the lengthy zoning process and its harsh effects on event planning, Sedona Temple leased their commercial building to the Phoenix Goddess Temple who re-opened their former Sedona Goddess Temple on July 1, 2011. Little did anyone know that the Phoenix Goddess Temple had been under investigation by the State of Arizona and the Phoenix police so when the Sedona Goddess Temple opened, Sedona Temple, ISTA and ONAC of ISTA were caught in the storm...
 On September 7, 2011 a SWAT team raided the Sedona Temple, International School of Temple Arts (ISTA), Oklevueha Native American Church of ISTA (ONAC of ISTA) and the Sedona Goddess Temple. A film crew was interviewing Native American elders and a Medicine Man about their traditional ways when the SWAT team handcuffed and detained them and forced a Swiss woman to the ground at gunpoint when she did not understand what they were asking her to do. Police confiscated equipment and files from all four churches and ONAC of ISTA continues to raise funding to build awareness of the special nature of the Native American Church and its legal precedents for all earth-based ceremonial practices regardless of race, gender, age, social position, religious back ground and/or financial status.
 ISTA - International School of Temple Arts is forming a Legal Advisory Think Tank to coordinate the education process of bringing municipalities up to speed on the sovereignty, ethics and legal precedents for sacred sexuality practitioners & teachers. This Think Tank will consist of supporters on all sides of the issues & be initially focused on the existing zoning & raid issues of the Arizona, Hawaii, Utah & Washington cases. The Think Tank will be initially established by ISTA Advisory Circle Members who will adopt case-specific Advisers into the Think Tank. Interested parties: apply here.
 In a statement in favor of sacred sexuality practices and to assist Sedona Temple to raise funds for legal defense Sedona area residents Lark Tucker and Dennis Clegg were wed Tantra-style on November 5, 2011 at the Sedona Temple. Reverend Crystal Dawn Morris, facilitator of the Sedona Tantra Meetup where Lark and Dennis met, officiated.

ISTA Australasia Sexuality & Consciousness Tour
International School of Temple Arts Faculty will tour from Brisbane to Perth to New Zealand bringing sacred teachings of Temple Arts.
 The ISTA Australasia Tour is a full plate this year with Conference Keynote Margot Anand and seven ISTA Faculty Members bringing their talent to Brisbane, Byron Bay, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and New Zealand.
