Water Conservationists to receive prestigious Lowell Thomas Award from The Explorers Club

Water Engineering at Machu Picchu

Kenneth R. Wright, P.E. and Ruth M. Wright, J.D., partners whose work on water conservation has brought enduring benefits to the environment, water resources, and communities in both North and South America, will be presented with the Explorers Club prestigious Lowell Thomas Award at 6 PM at Missouri History Museum on Saturday, October 15.  

 

This is the first time that the award has been given at a location other than the Explorers Club New York International Headquarters.  

 

The Wrights, along with other award recipients, will discuss their work at a Symposium and Reception on Friday, October 14, 4:00 to 9:00 PM at the St. Louis Racquet Club.
