Greetings!

The Deer Creek Watershed Alliance Spring Meeting proved to be a great night for those who received recognition and awards for their creek naming recommendations which were given final approval by the US Board on Geographic Names.  To find out more about the new creek names, view an updated map of the Deer Creek Watershed, and to view pictures of the award ceremony at the Spring Meeting vist our Tributaries Naming Project page

Also, the rain garden block party on May 15, which showcased our University City Demonstration Project, was a big success with around 200 people in attendance despite the rainy weather.  Many thanks to River des Peres Watershed Coalition, lead partner in organizing the block party, and Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, lead partner in rain garden design and construction.   Check out these articles in the University City Patch to find out more and to view pictures from the event.

Enjoy your summer!
