Anita, my PA, is away this week. Ouch! Please pray that God gives me patience (not patients) this week :0) Meanwhile things are starting to come together for the trip. I am awed especially by some who have given that I know are struggling financially. I am reminded of this scripture: Mark 12:41-44 NIV Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts. (42) But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a fraction of a penny. (43) Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, "I tell you the truth, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others. (44) They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything-all she had to live on." Does Jesus expect us to give all we have? YES! Luke 10:27 NIV He answered: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'" The amazing thing about faith in Jesus is it's not a formula, it's not giving or doing things, it's belonging to Him. Give yourself to Him and he'll take care of the rest. Not sure how? E-mail or call and I'll help you become part of God's family. He loves you enough to die for you. I love you too.
