The Lord is Moving! I had a great conversation about faith with a colleague in the hospital. Last night we prayed for salvation with a 20 year old friend. I'm trying to get the medicines we'll be taking to Guatemala ordered. God is good all the time!

Luke 22: 63-71 NIV
(63) The men who were guarding Jesus began mocking and beating him. (64) They blindfolded him and demanded, "Prophesy! Who hit you?" (65) And they said many other insulting things to him. Why would God allow men to humiliate Him? Think about this - could the forces of evil have done anymore to Jesus to keep Him from being seen by us as the Son of God, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. There was a purpose in all this humiliation and torture. Jesus was beaten down physically and His reputation as divine was destroyed as he was seen as helpless and reviled on the cross. Then, 3 days later, HE"S BAACK! Satan didn't count on the Resurrection. I can see the fire in Jesus eyes as He appears and says "You can't kill me! I'm the King of Kings, God in the flesh, the Christ, Emmanuel, I am alpha and omega, I am the Creator, the Prince of Peace, and I'M BACK!" Satan used us to try and destroy Jesus - oops, can't be done. It's the same with those of us who belong to Jesus, Satan can try His best to destroy us in whatever physical or emotional way he wants, but when Jesus resurrected He showed us that He will triumph over evil in the end and so will we if He's in us and we're in Him. (66) At daybreak the council of the elders of the people, both the chief priests and teachers of the law, met together, and Jesus was led before them. (67) "If you are the Christ," they said, "tell us." Jesus answered, "If I tell you, you will not believe me, (68) and if I asked you, you would not answer. (69) But from now on, the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the mighty God." (70) They all asked, "Are you then the Son of God?" He replied, "You are right in saying I am." (71) Then they said, "Why do we need any more testimony? We have heard it from his own lips." Some "intellectuals" argue that Jesus was a great moral teacher but never claimed to be the Son of God. Horsefeathers! His claim of divinity is what got Him killed! Satan is a liar and many believe Him. We know better. If you don't believe that Jesus really lived, that He really was God, and that He really died for you and came back to life, e-mail or call me. I'll be happy to tell you why I believe that from a historical, scientific, and intellectual point of view, it's all true.

Prayer Requests
Please pray for Fred Dugan - he suffers with pain in his neck from disc disease and was shot in the head two years ago - the bullet is in his head and causes him a lot of pain. Pray for pain relief and the perfect peace of Jesus.
Pray to give Larry strength and stamina for his Pharmacy exams. (Yucky!)
Please pray that Laura, and Ashley, tw0 19 year olds that Becky met in Walmart, come to know the Love of Jesus.

Jo Sylor's brother Fred has been diagnosed with ALS. He has had to
give up his apartment and moved in with one of his daughters as he is
requiring more care. The VA and ALS have supplied all equipment he
needs so far free of charge. Praise the Lord!!

Praises and Answers
Heather, one of the 19 year olds from Walmart gave her life to Christ last night! Thank you Jesus! Halleluia!
Baby Lynn is better! Saw him in the
office and he's perfect. The doctors have no idea how he got better so
suddenly - they were expecting a prolonged time on the ventilator.
Hmm. Thank you Jesus!
Sheila had a beautiful baby girl "Makayla Jayden-Rose" and I got to deliver it! Wonder of wonders, miracle of miracles.
God is opening doors for Becky to share the message of hospitality through the book that He asked her to write.
The Lord has opened the door for my son Josh and I to go to Guatemala in August on a mission trip.
Two of my patients gave their lives to Christ in my office last week. I'm always amazed that He uses me, a sinner, to lead them to Him. If God can use me He can use anyone! He wants to use you, so let Him. Remember, everyone has different gifts and God will use you in a way that is perfect.
That special patient with the Panic attacks has found the peace
that goes beyond understanding!
