Please forgive me for not being more consistent with my e-mails to you. Satan uses business to distract us from God's work. Becky's book signing went really well. I like being her agent. Now I'm trying to get Josh and I ready for the trip to Guatemala. Two of you have recently surrendered your lives to Jesus in my office. Welcome to the family of believers! I am praying for you.

Luke 22: 47-53 NIV
While he was still speaking a crowd came up, and the man who was called Judas, one of the Twelve, was leading them. He approached Jesus to kiss him, (48) but Jesus asked him, "Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?" Think of the Inquisitors who tortured "for the sake of Jesus" or money hungry television preachers of today. They appear to love Jesus, but are betraying Him. Are their ways that we are doing evil while acting like we love Jesus? How about gossiping about those in church? How about cheating God out of your tithe? How about going to a church function cause you know that cute guy or gal will be their and you like to flirt with them? It's easy to pretend that we don't sell out Jesus like Judas did, but... (49) When Jesus' followers saw what was going to happen, they said, "Lord, should we strike with our swords?" (50) And one of them struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his right ear. (51) But Jesus answered, "No more of this!" And he touched the man's ear and healed him. (52) Then Jesus said to the chief priests, the officers of the temple guard, and the elders, who had come for him, "Am I leading a rebellion, that you have come with swords and clubs? (53) Every day I was with you in the temple courts, and you did not lay a hand on me. But this is your hour-when darkness reigns." Jesus was leading the greatest rebellion against evil there ever was or ever will be. He defeated evil by surrendering, allowing the forces of evil to torture and kill Him, then proving His true power by rising from the dead. I don't know about you, but I'm glad I'm on His side! :0) |

Please pray that Heather, Laura, and Ashley, three 19 year olds that Becky met in Walmart, come to know the Love of Jesus.

Church as we seek God's wisdom in how best to serve Jesus.
Please pray that a special friend and patient who has terrible Panic Attacks would know the peace of Jesus in a powerful way.
Jo Sylor's brother Fred has been diagnosed with ALS. He has had to
give up his apartment and moved in with one of his daughters as he is
requiring more care. The VA and ALS have supplied all equipment he
needs so far free of charge. Praise the Lord!!
Please pray for a very sick newborn I delivered on Saturday. He is at Strong on a ventilator.

Praises and Answers
Sheila had a beautiful baby girl "Makayla Jayden-Rose" and I got to deliver it! Wonder of wonders, miracle of miracles.
God is opening doors for Becky to share the message of hospitality through the book that He asked her to write.
The Lord has opened the door for my son Josh and I to go to Guatemala in August on a mission trip.
Two of my patients gave their lives to Christ in my office last week. I'm always amazed that He uses me, a sinner, to lead them to Him. If God can use me He can use anyone! He wants to use you, so let Him. Remember, everyone has different gifts and God will use you in a way that is perfect.
