Wow have I been a slacker!  I just find it so hard to be consistent in my walk with the Lord.  Jesus knows I love Him, but I sure don't spend the time with Him that I need to.  Please pray for me to be disciplined in my service to Jesus.  I will pray for you all too.  Jesus loves you and so do I.

Luke 19:41-44 NIV
Luke 19:41-44 NIV  As he approached Jerusalem and saw the city, he wept over it  (42)  and said, "If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace-but now it is hidden from your eyes. (43)  The days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment against you and encircle you and hem you in on every side. (44)  They will dash you to the ground, you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of God's coming to you."

From the Life Application Study Bible:
"About 40 years after Jesus said these words, they came true. In A.D. 66, the Jews revolted against Roman control. Three years later Titus, son of the emperor Vespasian, was sent to crush the rebellion. Roman soldiers attacked Jerusalem and broke through the northern wall but still couldn't take the city. Finally, they laid siege to it, and in A.D. 70 they were able to enter the severely weakened city and burn it. Six hundred thousand Jews were killed during Titus's onslaught."

I wonder what things would have been like if the Jews had all recognized and bowed down before King Jesus.  I wonder what my life would have been like if I had bowed to Him before age 32.  I'll never know either answer but I do know Him now.  I pray that you know Him and Love Him and Serve Him.

Just wanted prayers for my granddaughter Trinity who had 2 febrile seziures yesterday. She was at Olean hospital we went down there and I prayed all the way there and while I got to hold her. She just turned 18 mths and the Dr. said thats when they start getting them. My Daughter Jessica is beside herself and scared.. The main thing right this minute is keeping her fever down,so thats the battle and the tylenol seems to help I havent heard anything today no news is good news.please pray for her and her parents as they are home right now and my daughter is afraid to sleep also.  thank you,  Lori

Please pray for Pat Wager who has cancer and is very sick right now and her husband Wayne and family.

Please pray for Pastor Rob and Cheryl and all of us at Lighthouse Wesleyan Church as we seek God's wisdom in how best to serve Jesus.

I am going through a period of aridity again and just cannot seem to "get with it"...it happens periodically.  I know this is when God is supposed to be closest to us but I feel so little, I am ashamed of it.  I could use some prayers to get back to feeling more spiritual.  Eileen Callahan

"But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you." (Matthew 6:6 NIV)

Please e-mail your prayer requests to me and I will post them here.

                   Praises and Answers
I praise God for the accountability group of Vaughn, Doug, and myself that He arranged for us.  Men need vital relationships with other Christian men.  This is so cool when it happens.

I praise God for His work in me that allowed some amazing healing to happen in a relationship with some very special people.  I just hope the woman of the house forgives me for leaving the toilet seat up :0)

James 4:10 NIV  Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.
