David Hinson, the new Executive Director for the Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA), has said the focus of MBDA will be to grow $5 million businesses into $100 million businesses. This is the first time the federal government has dedicated funding to specifically target homeless women Veterans.

"One in three homeless adults in the U.S. is a Veteran. Since 9/11, women soldiers with families comprise the fastest growing segment of homeless Veterans," commented Noe Foster, Founder and CEO of theStrategist, a management consulting firm that concentrates on military projects.   Foster designed the innovative workforce solution called POWER Up! to help homeless women Veterans get green jobs. "Our workforce developers equipped with iPads, meet face to face with Veterans in homeless shelters, on beaches, at parks and shopping malls. Northbound Develops 3 Mentorship Programs for Teens & Women in India
