Most people are willing, if not excited, to receive your newsletter and special email offers. All you have to do is ASK!
Another good step to jump start your contact list is to mail a sign-up request form to your current customer base. You can also include an incentive - say, a discount on the next order or a gift for every new customer referral sent your way.
