December 2010

In the Spirit of the Season

We know it's been a challenging year, so for those of you we've had the privilege to work with this year - thank you!  We really appreciate your loyalty and your commitment to marketing as a solution to getting your message out there.

And for those of you we haven't worked with, please keep us in mind. We remain committed to the value of great design for your marketing materials to help you stand out from your competition and to your success in the coming year.

We've received a lot of positive feedback on our monthly eblasts and we've tried to present a sampling of what we can do for you including corporate branding, brochures, website design and everything in between.

The very best to you and yours this Holiday and in 2011.

QR Barcodes - Smartphones get Savvy

There's a new barcode in town. Well not really new since it's been around awhile now. It's a barcode on steroids and it's called QR, or Quick Response. You may have noticed the small dark box with a white jagged pattern on the back of business cards or on print ads. Your SmartPhone is the bar reader and chances are you have a mobile barcode scanner app on your phone or can download one. Scan the quick response barcode on a business card and you can save the information to your phone's contact list, get directions to the office or send an email. Your customers will get all the information simply.

QR Barcodes can be used for more creative ways when geared to the technology savvy younger adults. Retailers can reach consumers with pertinent information at the point of purchase, and establish relationships with consumers -- providing targeted offers, promotions and product information with a quick scan. Retailers can use videos, demos and reviews to engage customers and support partner marketing programs through product tie-ins. Best Buy has used the QR Barcode with success.

We'll be seeing these mobile barcodes more and more. Just one more way to interact with the consumer and get your message out there.
