Nexus designs for the voice of primetime
Bill Ratner's mastery of the voice-over showcased in new website

We recently completed the design and production of a new media-rich website for Bill Ratner, one of the world's premiere voice-over talents. We have all heard Ratner's voice. Bill's distinctive, versatile voice has been used on major movie trailers, documentaries, radio & TV commercials, cartoon animation and TV promos for all the major networks, affiliates and cable companies.

With an homage to vintage Hollywood, we themed the website as a presentation theater showcasing Bill's rich portfolio of videos and audio clips as well as excerpts from his stories and articles. All "dished up" in an ever constant display screen and media selection bar. We included an area to download his audio reels and a password-protected Client Lounge for easy download of project files.

Bill Ratner wrote us, "I'm sitting here going over my site. It is frikkin' beautiful. You're a genius...I am overjoyed, and my clients are singing its praises."

Bill is now our favorite client.

If a tree fell in the forest...

Studies estimate that consumers are bombarded with more than 4,000 marketing messages a day. That's a whole lot of messages.

Those messages are received not only from the traditional mediums of TV, radio and print advertising but from online avenues including websites, mobile and social media. Using a variety of mediums to get your message out there is known as cross channel marketing.

The most important part of a good multichannel campaign is having a consistent company/product brand. A lack of branding consistency is confusing to consumers, who are more fickle than ever. All the design elements - layouts, use of color, typefaces, photography, copy voice or "persona" - should look as if they are coming from the same company and not like three different companies are working on your print, web and social media.

One of our strengths here at Nexus is branding and identity design. We've worked with both large corporations and small companies in developing consistent, effective brands. That branding message is generated throughout all aspects of the company's marketing efforts so the consumer is receiving a common, unified message.

Our portfolio is filled with great examples of our branding and identity work.
