Tri-C karters Announces California State Championships 2009

Tri-C Karters is once again hosting one of the longest standing and most prestigious annual karting event; The 46th annual California State Championships. The 2008 Championships was comprised of drivers representing eight states as well as Canada, Mexico and Venezuela. Many of the biggest names in karting history have competed in this event, including Hearn, Harvick, Speed, Fleming, just to name a few. 2009 is the year to add your name to the list!

This premier event will be contested on November 27th, 28th, 29th 2009 @ the CalSpeed kart track located at the famous California Speedway in Fontana California. There are racing classes for 2 cycle, 4 cycle, Kid karts, Shifters, Rotax, HPV as well as other popular classes. Click here for an entry form. Entry forms are available @ www.tri-ckarters.com and www.goracingmagazine.com as well as in the print version of Go Racing magazine. Pre-entry deadline is 11-17-09. Entries will be accepted on race day as well.

Official event practice begins Friday Nov 27th @ 10am. Saturday morning will continue practice and qualifying for 9 classes. Heat races and main events will be run in the afternoon. On Sunday, an additional 9 classes will be vying for the coveted CSC winners watch.

Classes will be run per the 2009 IKF rule book, or as noted on the entry form. All Bridgestone Spec tire classes must run the YKC. This is Spec Fuel event for 2 cycle classes. As in the past, Special commemorative watches have been created especially for the winners of each class of this event.

Overnight camping at the track is available Friday and Saturdays nights and is encouraged! Trailers can be dropped off on Wednesday, 11-25. The track will be closed on Thanksgiving day. This event will be held "Rain or Shine" Log on to www.calspeedkarting.com to find the schedule for the track.

2009 Final Tri-C Race Club

The 2009 season will wrap up on November 14 at CalSpeed. There are several classes where the Championship in up for grabs. Come be part of the race. The November race will be held on the same circuit as the California State Championships. Use this race to get your race setup dialed in.
