 Tri-C Karters and LAKC will once again be combining forces on a back to back race weekend.

Practice begins on Friday September 25th on the Grande Course (run counter-clockwise), with a practice discount given to Tri-C or LAKC members. 
 
Saturday racing starts with a drivers meeting at 8:00 am followed by practice then heat races and finals.  Immediately following the trophy presentations,Tri-C and LAKC will host a pizza dinner for all.
 
Remember that all of LAKC's races classes will be offered on Tri-C's Saturday race day. See entry form for details...
 
Sunday's action continues with LAKC's full slate of race classes, as well as Tri-C's race classes, affording drivers the opportunity to race in the same class on Saturday AND Sunday. Special discounts are offered to drivers who participate in both days racing.

Powder Puff and Dad's Race  
 
Did you just miss out July's race?  Ladies, this is your last chance to run down July's winner  Elena Cortez.  Men this is your chance for revenge and redemption.  With the lead changing hands several times per lap, Tom Sanders took the lead off the final turn coming home the winner. 
The Cal-Speed concession kart fleet consisting of 20 karts will be available for a fun race following the end of Saturday's events.  
 
It will require you to pre-sign up to reserve your spot.  Reservations are on a first come first serve basis.  The cost will be $50.00.  You will race three, 6 to 8 lap races.  We will have an all girls group of 20 karts and an all boys group of 20 karts available.  This is a must for all you mom's and dad's!  Sign up now by emailing your info to chris.latorre@gmail.com

Streets of Lancaster Grand Prix

Tri-C Karters and the City of Lancaster will be co-hosting the first annual Streets of Lancaster Grand Prix.   The 6/10ths of a mile, 8 turn circuit will run through the streets of downtown Lancaster.

Race day fast approaches, entries are pouring in.  Each race is limited to 30 entries, don't be left out!  Many classes are nearing the limit.  Send in your registration now!

Tri-C is planning some unique awards for this special event. In addition, the Spec PRD race at the Streets of Lancaster Grand Prix will be a Pro race with a cash payout. The purse currently stands at $2200 with a minimum of $1000 going to the winner. This number is expected to grow during the following weeks. The final distribution formula will be determined after all donations have been collected.

Tri-C Karters has received inquiries from drivers who would like to race, but do not have a PRD engine. There are rental engines available in the karting community. Lloyd Mack has some for rent, including the two that were on pole and off pole at the IKF race at Buttonwillow. He can be contacted at (909)615-7870.
