I love birthdays, holidays, and Christmas...not just the presents, but yah... especially the presents!

I remember opening my birthday gifts a year ago and drifting into a blah mood.  I said, "Thanks," but my feelings sagged.  Nothing I opened was making me happy.

Isn't that crazy?  A bad mood from receiving gifts...

How to have a "Holly, Jolly Christmas" this year

I was with a group of friends talking about Christmas memories... family traditions and gatherings... the sights and smells of home and childhood....  I was halted by the comment of one who said he had no happy memories of Christmas!

National Marriage Week -- February 7 - 14, 2009
MarriageWeekHeader

National Marriage Week 2009 is February 7-14. It will be a great opportunity for churches, community leaders, and couples to communicate the pivotal importance of marriage and its relevance to the strength of families and communities.

In response to this exciting opportunity, Stronger Families has organized the "7 Day Love Challenge."  We are asking couples to show their love for one another in ordinary, and extraordinary, ways throughout the week. Each day, a simple challenge will be given to couples to start a new spark start within their marriage or a fanning of the flame already burning. The daily challenges are simple and the benefits undeniable!
