Spotlight on Parker Miller

Hi, Parker!  First things first: how old are you, buddy?Parker and his little brother Miles

I am nine years old.

And what kidsActing play are you doing this semester?

I'm in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe!

Cool!  Who do you play in that show?

I'm Fenris Ulf.  He's the Wolf Captain of the Queen's secret police!

Awesome.  What do you like about playing Fenris Ulf?

Well, it's one of the first times I've ever been an animal for a play...  Except for when I was Scar and Pumbaa in The Lion King last summer.

So do you like playing animals?

Yeah.  I especially like playing this animal, because a wolf is one of my favorite animals.

Why do you like wolves so much?

I like wolves because they come out at night and because they have good eye vision-- not like me.

So you're playing a bad guy in this, and you played Scar in The Lion King.  What other villains have you played?

I played the Emperor in Star Wars semester and also I was Captain Hook in Peter Pan.

Do you like playing villains?

Yes! They have cooler lines and cooler things to do than the good guys, and they're tougher- because the good guys always win, so they have to be!

What do you like most about The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe?

There's a bunch of animals- and also, mostly what I really like about it as that there are battles in the show... If I can, I always go to plays with battles.  The final battle in The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe is my favorite battle ever.

Do you have other favorite shows that you've done at kidsActing?

Definitely Star Wars, and um, The Fellowship of the Ring, and The Hobbit -  those are my three favorites after this one right now.

What else do you like about kidsActing?

Other things that I like about kidsacting are that my mom works there, and sometimes my best friend Aidan goes there for plays-- and that's about it.

Is there any other story or play you'd like to see kidsActing do?

Um, I would do- hmmm... let's see... Well, so far The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe  is just what I wanted... every semester the plays just get better and better!

How do you feel about the fact that your mom used to be kidsActing student?

What?  I didn't even know it existed back then!  Wow...  I think that's awesome, that's what I feel about it!

What other things doyou like to do besides acting?

There's a lot of other stuff I like to do.  You probably already know this, but I like to play video games a lot and... what I'm hoping to get for Christmas is a video game called Ratchet and Clank All 4 One.

Well I hope Santa brings it for you!  Do you have a favorite holiday song?

My favorite Christmas song is Jingle Bells.  Because I just like how the tune goes.
