The twenty young women participating
in Grrl Action Year-Roundwill
share their long-term projects with the public. Each grrl has been
paired with a professional female artist to develop her work, and this
year promises a festival of dance, theatre, music, photography,
installation, design, Manga, playwriting and poetry. Works will be shown
at The Off Shoot, Willow Arts Studio, Wooldridge Square Park, and
other locations about town.

The students of St. Dominic Savio have been working
extremely hard preparing for the first spring musical in the school's
history. This group of young ladies and men are pioneers as they launch
the annual tradition of spring musicals for Savio in years to come. Come
see a fun filled show, a musical experience for the entire family! Kids
and grandparents alike will love this classical musical timepiece!
Experience the magic of the Chocolate
Factory, the Oompa Loompas, the wonderful music and of
course Willy Wonka himself, played by David Bologna. Willy Wonka will be
David's stage debut since returning to Austin from his TONY nominated
performance in Billy Elliot.

www.emilyann.orgIt is 1959 and Rydell high is filled with rebellious, thrill-loving
students. In the midst of this scene, Sandy Dumbrowski enters as the new
girl in school. It turns out that she and the leader of the Burger
Palace Boys gang, Danny Zuko, have had a brief love affair the summer
before. As the show goes on, the students at Rydell High have to deal
with love, gang violence, peer pressure, and friendship all while
dancing and singing to some of the most beloved songs from the 1950's.

Over the last 6 years our office manager at kidsActing has ensured that everything runs smoothly: she registers all the kids for
class, she answers any questions you might have about practically
anything, she helps reunite kids with lost items. She calls it "fun crazy"!
She doesn't really call herself a theater goer but she said her favorite play, by far, was the first she saw at kidsActing, Velveteen Rabbit. "It was the first production
I came to see when I started working here. It was very touching-
although- I do get embarrassed when I cry in public, which of course- I
did"

The Center Stage Players present
their second youth-lead production, Arsenic and Old Lace.
Directed by Dylan Kittleman, this macabre, classic American comedy set
in Brooklyn follows the highjinks of a well-meaning but crazy family
with a strange sense "charity". Come spend some time with
the Brewster sisters, but maybe pass on the elderberry wine!
